Someone needs a fourth. Someone else has never played. An hour later, they are already planning the next match.
Padel has a way of shortening the distance between strangers. You stand close enough to call for the ball, laugh at a miss and try again together. The court gives everyone a part to play.

The reason we come back
The first game can feel awkward. You are learning where to stand, when to let the ball meet the glass, when to leave a shot for your partner. Then a rally lasts longer than you expected. Nobody minds who won it; everybody wants another.
A match finishes, rackets go down, and the conversation keeps moving. It is the ordinary rhythm around the game that makes a club feel like somewhere you belong.
The next match is often made before this one ends.

Beyond the glass
Courtside is a place for the people around the game: the person who invites a beginner in, the regular who remembers your name, the club that makes room for one more. As Reja grows, we want to tell their stories in their own words.
The game belongs to everyone who turns up. We are here to pay attention to what happens next.
